Brand Rewards and Recognition
Today I am in one of my favorite cities working with one of my favorite clients. I am especially excited to be meeting with human resources personnel over the next few days. My experience indicates that one of the most important components of building an effective brand is internal branding.
One of the most critical aspects of internal branding is engaging the human resources office in the brand development process. Just like recruiting and retaining the right customers, it is vital that we have a program in place to recruit and retain the right employees.
As a part of the internal branding program, we need to include a rewards and recognition system. This will provide a means of thanking those employees who demonstrate on-brand behavior and help others understand what it means to be a brand champion.
