Last night Jaret Peterson won the silver medal in my favorite Winter Olympics event, the men's aerials. That competition combines speed, gymnastics, skiing, artistry and more. I am hard pressed to think of a challenge more daunting that what the aerials requires.
In his second jump Peterson pulled out all the stops by going for it with his trademark "Hurricane" jump. The number of twists and turns in 3.5 seconds seems impossible to accomplish, even in slow motion. For his efforts and for what he stands for, Bret "Speedy" Peterson is the Brand Champion of the Day.
With grace, enthusiasm, innovation and other brand attributes, Jaret Peterson has recruited a ton of champions for his brand. It is so great to see competitions like the aerials, snowboarding and other contemporary sports in the Winter Olympics. I can't imagine what will be included in the future.
