For the past several years, Major League Baseball has demonstrated its support for breast cancer awareness and the Susan G. Komen Foundation by having players swing with pink baseball bats on Mother's Day in the United States. Yesterday, MLB showed its colors again. Anyone can pitch in by purchasing pink bats and the proceeds go to help fight breast cancer.

It would be great to see a day of the Pink Bay Packers, Detroit Pink Wings, Duke Pink Devils, Texas Tech Pink Raiders or Tulane Pink Wave in men's sport. Can you imagine the big house turning pink for Big Pink? Maybe Pink would sing the national anthem. Maybe it has been done, I don't know. I pink it would be great.
In the meantime, Major League Baseball gets my vote as the Brand Champion of the Day!
