Today I am meeting two colleagues for lunch. We decided to connect at one of Denver's landmark restaurants, My Brother's Bar. No, we are not drinking during the lunch hour. We are going to indulge in burgers, sandwiches, fries or onion rings. Yes, that might not be the healthiest of choices, but it will be an on-brand experience.
I have been going to My Brother's Bar, for more years than I can count. Each and every time I go there, I am greeted by the same friendly owner (one of the brothers) and taken to a table inside or out (hopefully today). I will probably get the same thing that I have eaten there 95 percent of the times that I have been there. A buffalo burger, fries, iced tea and iced water.
The food will come in basic paper wrappers and the condiments in a simple transportable container. Nothing fancy here. Just the way I like it. I prefer an on-brand experience at an affordable, dive, rather than a guessing game at to an expensive place. For all you do, My Brother's Bar, you are the Brand Champion of the Day.
